So happy Shane Black is directing Iron Man III. I’ve only seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ONCE and I still remember it, and this was several years ago. Like… More than 5 years ago. Which to say the least is indicative of very fine filmmaking. Few directors work actually stick with me, so a list would just be insulting to you and expose that I clearly only care about how action is directed first with a biting script coming in second. I suppose it’s true but I like my share of movies where action is an afterthought to story and dialog, I could count on one hand the amount of directors who left an impression in my Primestar® viewing mind in this way when I was absorbing movies at a terrifying pace (ages 8-13) because I was into the feeling film gives you, whether it be fear or sadness.
